The basis for our church family is from Ephesians 2:19, which says, “You are a member of God’s very own family and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” There are three keys found in this verse that we believe are the foundation for belonging to a church:

1. The church is a family
2. God expects each of us to be a member of a family
3. A Christian without a church family is an orphan

Scripture is clear that every believer should be a part of the local church. At Highlands, we want to give you an opportunity to be a part of the amazing things He is doing. We offer CLASS 101 on a regular basis to help give you the basic foundational beliefs of our church, explain what it means to belong to God’s family and give you an opportunity to become a part of our church family.
